01 / THE PLATFORM
From a server overview to the next useful action. VCS connects the tools you need without losing the context of the server you're working on.
Keep your Linux infrastructure together. Check server and agent status, review services, inspect ports and follow the work running on each server.
CONNECTED BY THE VCS RUST AGENTDescribe a server problem in Troubleshooting. The Rust agent collects supported diagnostics; the assistant explains findings and offers relevant next steps.
SUPPORTED REPAIRS REQUIRE APPROVALWork directly with your server from VCS. Use persistent shell sessions and manage them explicitly in External Shells.
STARTER, DEV & ENTERPRISECreate VPN Mesh routes and private profiles in Connections. Assign managed Android devices with automatic sync, or add independent QR clients for standard WireGuard apps.
SERVER-TO-SERVER: DEV & ENTERPRISEOpen Cloud Code Studio on your server. Bring development tools and supported application deployments closer to your infrastructure.
DEV & ENTERPRISERun the first-server Security Scan, review essential updates and SSH/firewall settings, then approve supported fixes. Container Guard and focused diagnostics help with ongoing checks.
VISIBILITY BEFORE CHANGESAvailable actions depend on your program, permissions, server configuration and agent capabilities.
02 / WHAT WOULD YOU CONNECT?
A VPS in a datacenter. A computer at home. GPU workers where you need them. Explore concrete ways to connect and operate the infrastructure you own.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / VPS + HOME + GPU
Connect a hosted Linux VPS to your home workstation and compatible GPU workers through configured private links. Open the workspace from your browser and keep the development or compute runtime on the machine that owns it.
In practice Example: develop on the VPS, reach files or services on your workstation, and use a compatible GPU worker for Studio Media Editor. The GPU worker can also be your home machine. Backend, model and workload compatibility still apply.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / SERVER CLUSTER
Connect the server roles you own through Connections server-to-server links: web, database, build or other permitted nodes. Keep a home workstation in the picture through its own configured private connection.
In practice Example: check the web server, review a failed build service and reach a private database from your authorized VPS session. A connection does not grant access to every service or account.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / VPN MESH / INTERNET
Use your own infrastructure for VPN internet access. Build a VPN Mesh route with an entry and exit server, and supported intermediate hops when your setup needs them. Assign the route to enrolled Android devices in Managed Access, or create a separate named QR client for each standard WireGuard device.
In practice Example: use your own exit server while on public Wi-Fi. The tunnel protects its configured traffic path; it is not a guarantee of anonymity or protection from a compromised endpoint.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / PRIVATE INFRASTRUCTURE
Use a Connections S2S profile for permitted private server services. This infrastructure connection does not supply internet egress: private routes stay separate from a VPN internet route.
In practice Example: administer a private development or build network without using it as a browsing VPN. VCS management still needs its working control path. This routing mode does not make the servers physically air-gapped.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / INTERNET + INFRASTRUCTURE
Combine one VPN Mesh internet route with an eligible Single server or S2S profile in a Managed Access VPN Cluster. VirtuVPN receives one cluster configuration, with the internet path and permitted private infrastructure available through the configured routing.
In practice Example: browse through your VPN exit and open the VPS terminal from VirtuVPN to work on reachable infrastructure. A VPN Cluster pairs one VPN Mesh route with an eligible Single server or S2S connection. S2S can reach several configured nodes; the Single server option needs no second server.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / SINGLE SERVER
Start with one Linux VPS and its Rust agent. Create a Single server connection, assign your Android in Managed Access and explicitly allow administrator terminal access. No second server or home computer is required.
In practice Example: check a service or return to an installed coding CLI session from Android. Browser disconnects detach a persistent shell; End session is a separate action. This infrastructure-only profile does not provide a VPN internet exit.
ILLUSTRATIVE SETUP / INDEPENDENT QR CLIENTS
Connect several devices to the same existing VPN Mesh route with separate standard WireGuard profiles. Use third-party WireGuard apps or VirtuVPN → Other tunnels. A client is an identity on this VPN, not a second VPN route.
In practice Example: a phone, tablet and laptop use separate client identities on the same route. Do not copy one QR to simultaneous devices: they would share a key and compete for the peer endpoint. QR imports are manually managed; Managed Access enrollment and Sync now remain a separate workflow.
Start with a concrete task. Keep the selected server and its evidence in view.
Check uptime, CPU load, memory, disk space and failed services. Follow a problem into supported logs or diagnostics instead of stopping at a status badge.
SERVER WORKSPACE · TROUBLESHOOTINGUse Cloud Code Studio and persistent terminal sessions. Work with installed Codex CLI or Claude Code on the server, using your own provider access and setup.
STUDIO · TERMINAL · LOCAL CLI AGENTSReview listening ports and local firewall evidence. Check the configured VPN route, server links and Android assignments before changing connectivity.
PORTS · VPN MESH · AGENT GATEWAYAsk the assistant to inspect a server through its Rust agent. Continue with relevant diagnostics and approve a supported repair separately when a change is needed.
RUST DIAGNOSTICS · APPROVED REPAIRSExample topologies, not automatic discovery, GPU pooling or unrestricted access. Available links and actions depend on your program, permissions, installed tools, routing and compatible runtimes. See how the Rust agent connects.
03 / YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE, IN YOUR POCKET
VirtuVPN brings assigned VPN connections to Android. Use a Single server connection for one VPS, an S2S connection for permitted infrastructure, or a VPN Cluster combining private access with VPN Mesh internet. Open the authorized server terminal directly from your phone.
Associate the device with your VCS account using the enrollment flow.
Assign VPN Mesh internet, a private Single server or S2S connection, or build a VPN Cluster combining internet and infrastructure access.
Run Sync now. Open terminal follows the exact assigned Single server or S2S connection. Administrator shell access must be explicitly enabled for Single server.
From Android, open the VPS terminal, inspect a service, use your configured private connection to another server, or return to an installed Codex or Claude Code CLI session. The work runs on that server.
# Your authorized server session operator@vps ~ $ systemctl --failed # Inspect service state $ ssh private-node # Your configured private access $ codex # Installed CLI, your account
Your configured routes,
services and credentials.
Manage assignments from VCS. Assign or remove device access and synchronize the result. Removing a device assignment does not revoke the underlying VPN for other devices.
Use the standalone browser freely. VirtuVPN’s secured browser does not need VCS registration. VCS-managed VPN and infrastructure assignments require a VCS account. Coding CLIs need their own installation, provider access and connectivity.
04 / CONNECTED, BY DESIGN
The resident Rust agent connects outward to VCS. Supported agent diagnostics can work without SSH while that control connection is available.

Work happens here.
Register your Linux server and install the VCS Rust agent using the onboarding flow.
Open its workspace, inspect the available diagnostics and understand the observed state.
Continue in the terminal, manage a connection or approve a supported troubleshooting repair.
05 / CONTROL STAYS WITH YOU
Your servers belong to your workspace. Managed Support access requires you to unlock the relevant server for the supported scope.
Understand the access modelAuthorize access when you need help. Locking support blocks new protected access and delivery; already dispatched work may finish.
Troubleshooting starts with bounded diagnostics. A proposed native repair needs a separate approval for that server and operation.
Review observed facts, missing evidence and recorded operation results. A local check is distinguished from proof of external reachability.

Let's discuss
Scope and pricing agreed separately
Enterprise is assigned by the VCS superadmin after agreement. It is not a self-service checkout option.
Plan limits apply across your workspace, not separately on every server or VPN. P2S and Single server have separate allowances. Each managed Android device holds one current VPN Cluster: Dev supports up to five simultaneous managed Android cluster deliveries. Independent QR clients have a separate account-wide allowance.
Display estimate only. Confirm your billing country when registering; the account determines your subscription currency.
Network estimates may reflect a VPN exit. IP Geolocation by DB-IP.
Confirm your billing country during registration. Subscription currency is assigned automatically from that saved country. These are separate fixed prices, not exchange-rate conversions. Billing details are confirmed in Stripe.
Applicable taxes depend on the confirmed billing location, customer status and the seller's tax registrations. Switzerland is currently priced without CH MWST while the seller is not registered. Final totals and recurring terms are reviewed in secure checkout before confirmation. Paid signup is not available yet.
Dev is priced per workspace, with monthly or annual billing in the currency assigned from your registration country. The displayed price is an estimate. A 14-day free trial is planned; paid signup and trials are not available yet.
When paid signup opens, choose monthly or yearly Dev. Confirm the recurring price, payment method and first payment date in checkout before starting your 14-day free trial. Any applicable taxes are shown before you agree.
After 14 days, the first payment at your chosen regional monthly or yearly price, plus any applicable tax, follows unless you cancel renewal. The subscription then renews on your chosen billing interval.
Use Profile → Manage subscription & automatic renewal. Cancel during the trial to prevent the first charge. After a payment, access lasts through the paid period, then the workspace returns to free Starter.
Returning to Starter keeps your registered servers, devices and VPN assignments. Access follows Starter limits; paid capabilities are restricted when the trial or paid period ends.
Standard program defaults shown. Your active VCS access package determines actual limits and permissions. Check current availability in VCS or contact us.
07 / GOOD QUESTIONS
Clear expectations before you connect.
VCS App manages the Linux servers you connect. You remain responsible for obtaining the server or hosting from your provider. The Starter, Dev and Enterprise programs describe access to VCS capabilities.
It runs on your server, connects outward to VCS and performs authorized server work. It provides the execution path for supported diagnostics, commands and terminal sessions. It is distinct from the language model that interprets troubleshooting evidence.
Supported agent diagnostics and native repair actions use the agent control channel rather than SSH. This can help if SSH is unavailable while the server, agent and outbound connection still work. If that control path is also unavailable, another recovery method is needed. External SSH reachability requires its own verification.
No. Customer-server Managed Support requires a current customer-authorized unlock for that server and supported scope, alongside the relevant permissions and eligibility. Locking support prevents new protected access and command delivery; a task already delivered to the agent may finish.
Managed Access associates Android devices with your VCS workspace and assigns VPN tunnels. VirtuVPN synchronizes those assignments. Its standalone secured browser does not require a VCS account; VCS-managed VPN functionality does.
Yes, through the supported configured private connections. A home workstation can join through a Local PC profile; compatible Studio GPU workers use their selected system profile. Supported options include Apple Silicon MPS, NVIDIA CUDA and AMD ROCm. This connects your hardware and supported workloads; it does not automatically pool GPU resources or make every model compatible.
VPN Mesh provides internet access through your configured exit. Single server and S2S profiles provide permitted infrastructure access. A VPN Cluster combines one VPN Mesh route with an eligible Single server or S2S connection in one delivered Android configuration. Sources keep their original type in Managed Access; a cluster does not create another VPN Mesh route.
The web terminal opens an authorized server session. You can run a CLI installed on that server, including supported Codex and Claude Code installations, with your own provider account and required connectivity. These coding tools are separate from the VCS Rust agent that carries out supported VCS server operations.
Yes. Assign the route separately to enrolled Android devices in Managed Access and run Sync now. For independent standard WireGuard devices, open VPN clients and Add client for each device. Each gets its own key and address. Reusing the same QR or Original single-client export on simultaneous devices causes endpoint competition.
No. A → B → C is one VPN Mesh route using three managed servers. Separate clients follow that same chain and exit. Route Builder supports up to 16 active nodes, while Starter includes one server and Dev includes five; the technical hop guard does not increase your plan allowance.
Yes. In Connections, create Single server, assign the device in Managed Access and explicitly enable administrator terminal access. Install Web Terminal for that connection, run Sync now in VirtuVPN and choose Open terminal. Internet-only VPN assignments and raw client QR profiles do not grant a shell.
No. A VPN clients QR is standard WireGuard configuration, not VCS registration or Managed Access enrollment. Starter includes three independent QR clients across the account and one managed Android device; Dev includes ten QR clients and five managed Android devices. A Dev QR allowance is not ten clients per VPN.
Closing or detaching the web view keeps the persistent server session available. Reopen the session to continue. End session is an explicit action that can terminate the shell and its running jobs. Connectivity and the server itself must remain available for ongoing work.
The Dev card above shows the planned monthly and annual base price estimated for your location. Your saved registration country determines subscription currency. Website estimates do not change it. Any applicable taxes are added separately. The free Dev trial lasts 14 days. Paid signup and trials are not available yet. When signup opens, you explicitly agree to recurring payment in checkout. The first charge follows after the trial unless you cancel renewal; creating a free VCS account alone does not start a paid subscription.
Yes. Use Profile → Manage subscription & automatic renewal in VCS. Cancelling during the trial prevents the first charge. Cancelling after payment keeps access until the paid period ends; the workspace then returns to free Starter. Your registered servers, devices and VPN assignments are retained, while access follows Starter limits.
Enterprise is agreed separately and assigned by the VCS superadmin. It is not available through self-service checkout. Contact us to discuss your scope and requirements.
